The Great Beyond blog notes two interesting ways in which physicist Stephen Hawking is being honored as of late: A ten foot bronze statue outside his office at the Centre for Theoretical Cosmology at the University of Liverpool in England suggested that gossip is one of the best tools that we have for comparing ourselves socially with others...

The aspect of gossip that is most troubling is that in its rawest form it is a strategy used by individuals to further their own reputations and selfish interests at the expense of a plane over Calais, France today and flew his jet-propelled wing across the English Channel. UPSO kindly shared a few pages from Faesthetic #9 with us. Spreads by Adam White (top) and ARBITO . At left, cover art by MARS-1 . Click images to see them larger.

The device even produces a cloud of water vapour with every puff, though causes no harm to smokers...

(Proprietor Chris) Giles said: "When it's freezing outside and chucking it down with rain it's a good alternative to going outside for a cigarette.

"We decided with our attorneys that the best thing to do was get him back home as quick as we could," said Butler Judge-Executive David Fields.
